Movie Review
The Da Vinci Code (2006)Avg. Rating: (out of 4 stars) Rate this film Rated: PG-13 Directed by: Ron Howard Starring: Tom Hanks, Audrey Tautou and Ian McKellen Tagline: Seek the truth. Favorite line: Length: 149 minutes Plot: A murder inside the Louvre and clues in Da Vinci paintings set Dr. Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) off on a quest to solve an ancient religious mystery.Review by The Editor (12 reviews): The movie is fairly fast paced as Tom Hank's character tries to stay one step ahead of the authorities (who thinks he is the murderer) as he pursues a series of clues through France and England to solve the mystery.
The film is entertaining and the acting is good. However, fact and fiction are so intertwined you may want to do some research after watching the film in order to sort out the facts from the fiction.
